What testers should include when reporting a ViewerTap beta bug.

Useful report shape

A beta issue is easiest to fix when it includes the exact tool, setup, behavior, and repeat steps.

  • - Tool name and version or download entry.
  • - Windows version and streaming app: OBS, TikTok Live Studio, or both.
  • - Copy status output from the app when available.
  • - What happened, what you expected, and steps to reproduce.
  • - Screenshots, screen recordings, or logs when they are safe to share.

Live-stream priority

Reports from live traffic should separate stream-blocking issues from polish or setup questions.

  • - Say whether the issue happened during a live stream.
  • - Mention whether closing the tool, using dry-run, or reverting to a manual fallback worked.
  • - Do not include private tokens, payment details, or raw viewer data in reports.
