Blur Beta Onboarding

How approved Blur Beta testers should install, test, and report status.

Before access is sent

Blur Beta uses controlled delivery for the signed Windows installer. Do not share raw ZIP links publicly.

- Use Stripe checkout or direct support only for controlled access requests.
- Use the signed Windows installer before broad tester delivery.
- If Smart App Control blocks an older unsigned test build, ask support for the signed build or an alternate test plan.

Approved testers should keep the install simple and repeatable so bugs are easy to reproduce.

- Open the approved ViewerTap delivery link or support email.
- Download the signed Windows installer for the approved version.
- Run the installer, then start Blur Flip Beta from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.
- Enter the TikTok username, select the monitor, start the screen effect, and run Test blur before going live.

The beta app includes a Copy status action for support. Use it before describing the issue in your own words.

- Click Copy status and paste the output into the support email.
- Include Windows version, streaming app, TikTok username, and whether this was live or a dry run.
- Attach screenshots or recordings only after redacting private tokens, payment details, and viewer data.
